Spa FAQs
How much does a spa cost in Cairns?
It depends on the size, seating, features and installation your site needs. Compact hot tubs are cheaper, while swim spas and custom concrete spas sit higher. Visit the showroom or request a quote for an accurate price.
What’s the difference between a swim spa and a pool?
A swim spa uses a powerful current so you can swim in place in a much smaller footprint, and it doubles as a spa. A pool gives you more open water for families and entertaining. We build pools and sell swim spas, so we can give you a straight answer on which fits your block.
What do I need to prepare before installation?
Most spas need a level, solid base, clear access for delivery and a suitable power supply installed by a licensed electrician. We’ll check all of this during your site visit and tell you exactly what’s needed.
Can I add a spa to my existing pool?
Often, yes. Depending on your pool and yard, we can add a standalone spa nearby or look at a renovation that integrates one. Talk to our team about what’s possible for your backyard.
Is a spa worth it in the tropics?
Absolutely. Many Cairns owners run their spa cool through summer for a refreshing dip and warm it up in the cooler months, so it gets used all year.
How do I look after my spa?
Regular water testing, clean filters and a good cover go a long way. Our Pool Shop stocks spa chemicals and filters, and we’ll show you a simple routine at handover.
Not sure what type of spa you want?
No problem! Call us to book a consultation at our showroom and we’ll talk through all your options and find the perfect solution for you based on your budget and desires.
